Thanks end2end.It was actually my older brother that made and painted the turntable as he used to work on (and still does ).It's know turned into a joint project!

Re: Staverton Junction
Good start. Thanks for the photos. I don't see any roof insulation. Am I right ? You're attic must be cold at this moment.

Back on the track !

Re: Staverton Junction
what are your trains running like at the moment with no insulation??
Just been up with little man and mine have dead zones because of the weather as before it got cold it ran fine

Hi!
The trains run fine without the insulation but there are some places where it's patchy but I think it more because of wiring/laying issues than anything else as is the same when it's warm.(I was trying them in this evening)
Hope you manage to sort out your insulation problems!
Regards

It was actually my older brother that laid the track but know its turned into a joint project as he doesn't have the time to do much anymore and he's away a fair bit of the time

It's half term this week so I'm hoping to get a fair bit more done!
Here is a list:
Finish of roofing for roundhouse
start planning an overall roof Branch line terminus
Start building the Branch line terminus
+if time and resources
Start laying Branch line track
Start building a small village
Quite a list for a week!

Re: Staverton Junction
Hi,
I'm hoping to get at least the first three things done it not more!but also if n here are too many visitors I might only get the first 2 done!
I've already got a rough idea about the Branch line (Ashburton) and planning and measurements are fully underway! For the roundhouse roof i m thinking of using plasticard or printable texture sheets. The branch line station might need some greycard which I've run out ! I think a trip to the model shop might be needed
and
Pictures will probably come tomorrow or thursday!
Thanks
