as Montford and Sgarth fixed me up, and I don't want to clutter the forum up with my trial and error!

Going to have to break off for a bit, come back at it again. I am getting doubles in the preview. Having located the attachment button, I may have the trick of it, thank you Mon Ami! Now, let me try a different way to link to "Nessie Rail Tours" video. Please let me know if it comes through?

Hi Chops
Sorry the tube wouldn't let me access your video. I was told it is banned in my country (UK). I assume it's because of a copyright issue, maybe some music.

The code tabs are to allow you to display code without it being processed. It puts the text of the code in a box with a 'Select All' button allowing you to copy and paste.
This allows people to demonstrate the code they are using without it actually being processed, so;
To show a picture use the IMG tab like this;

Code: Select all

That is a start with [img]
then the internet URL address of the picture
and end with a [/img]

Image

An 'Attachment' will show a link to a document that has been attached to the post, the attachment tab is below the text entry box, and you can enter the attachment within the post by clicking on the 'Inline' button. However, on this board the admins seem to not allow many document types on this board.

I hope this helps a little bit.

Thank you Sgarth, I believe I was clicking on the wrong attach file button, causing the duplication. Being unable to edit and erase my little mess I have endeavored to start the whole Henley Thread over again. I thank you all again for guiding me through this.

Nice lion avitar. I recall back in about 1975 staying at an old London establishment, dying from jet lag, and the wall had a plexiglass panel protecting the antique wall that was of a coat-of-arms type thing of a red lion painted upon an ancient plaster wall. Centuries later, it was a captivating piece. I can only imagine what it looked like 300 years earlier to denizens without the distraction of television.

Ah, I just located the icon to edit, but fear I will cause further confusion by trying to remove my trial attempts.
