This is one of my favorite layouts to follow, thanks for the video. I am not at familiar with the modern British range, and it is most exotic to my eyes. Your trains run like an oiled watch. On your next video, it would be most interesting to see any of them traversing the crossovers, if you have time for a small request.

Is that birdsong or wheel squeak, in the background? What a fabulous switcher, poking cautiously down the line. It did not sound the horn
at the crossing, is this a No Horn section?

The best thing to come out of Privatisation was the multitude of colourful liveries. Great looking loco!

New Loco joined Torridon Road TMD. Class 66 'Evening Star' National Railway Museum.
Yes I added all the PE plates (great fun in the heat) and detailed both ends. for info I used 'card' glue so it never damages surfaces but it sticks very well.

Thank you for that- a sinewy twist from one line to another, flawlessly.
Sound effects most excellent, too.

Not so much a new layout now as its been down for over a year now and because it runs so well I finally got round to ballast.
This was my first ever go at ballasting but if I say so myself I'm very happy with the result. I can now get on with the ground scatter and grasses

And on this pictures it shows were I later got round to painting the stainless steel fishplates around the layout as they are very bright
