That looks pretty good! Just think about some grime and rusty rails now :)

So my 7x4 shed roundy roundy layout which I call Torridon Rd, as well as being my first attempt at ballasting, has now had its scenic work done, again my first time at doing this. I can now enjoy my trains running round and now look forward to picking up the small bits and bobs to add to the scene.

Hi triuph
Wow what a difference your ballasting and " greenery " have certainly pulled your layout together. I particularly like the first photo with the Ground Signal. Well done.

Thanks very much. This has been my first ever attempt at ballasting and scenery, so if you think its OK than I'm well happy

It is a nice touch that you have posted photographs of the real railway upon which your model is based for us to compare with ... oh, wait a minute ... these ARE of the model!!

A most enjoyable view of the modern range. Nice work on the cell tower, never seen that done before.
The back scene blends perfectly, giving a strong perception of distance and space.

Very nice bit of ballasting and detailing. The cable trough down the middle of the the "six/ten foot" gives an obvious reason for the wider "Peco Standard" spacing.

That's coming along very well, certainly like what you've achieved.

Hi, I think you've done a fantastic job. Looks really good; wish I could have convinced myself that size doesn't matter!

Great bit of kit from illuminated_models to transform some versions of the Bachmann 66.

Every loco on my layout has a driver so if it doesn't come with one I fit one. (Hatton, Hornby, Dapol and Heljan). Just lately been repainting what Bachmann uses as a driver figure. Heres a few repaints so far. On the left in the 3rd pic is how they looked.
