Merryfield Heritage Railway

hopefully it works

as you can see from the poorly taken pic i knew nothing, from the second pic at least my boards where level decided to go with basic controllers.Note the mess in the corner

then the mess was cleared and ...... follow it around ..... its basic but its my world :D

Total agree, you hear "you should do it this way" nuts to that, you do it how you want. Let's remember they are only toys lol

Just remember: this is a better layout than one forever planned yet never built!
Plus it looks like it is versatile enough to be adjusted over time as you want, so fully 'modular'
Enjoy playing trains - you have reached that rare state where you actually can :D

Well i`m trying to upload and organise pics on photobucket bt i`ve spent more time closing ad down at waiting for the site to respond so i`m gonna say photo*ucket and i`ll try another avenue :roll:

Its a nice creation. It has scenery on it which is a bit more then mine has at the moment! :mrgreen:
Mine is looking a little bear! OK, I have added an extra track branching off since....
I'm thinking an improvement to the layout (Not mine but I will be making one) is some sort of back scene down the middle if one wants to alter things. Its good as it is though. I like the Mk1 and Mk 2 coach scene. Very good Flattrack.
Hint to add to the scenic effect. Roads can look good if mixed with scouring powder or talcum powder on the paint while drying I was told. My past roads were just painted a light grey and they seemed OK for countryside roads.
Well done though. It looks a fun layout indeed!
