Good job you got the silent one! Else all that nice weathering might have gone to waste when it got replaced!

A bit of movement at Wykeham today - it's a rare occurrence! Click on the picture and the action starts! Best watched in full-screen with a little volume - I think the West Country chuff rate was a little off!

A picture rarely seen - the Main Entrance to Wykeham Station. I have fitted some Scenecraft Bollards and some Woodland Scenics people - described as "taking the stairs" - the WS people are "HO" - but they look ok. The main station building is currently off of the layout - I have been adding some detail such as drainpipes/hoppers and station signs. Woodland Scenics people come in a wide variety of situations, many of which will fit on a UK themed layout - I was not sure where the "Hillbilly Band" would fit in! :D

Great video. :)
I'm trying my hardest to resist sound equipped loco's but it's very tempting.
Thanks

Hi E2e - I think I have five - but to be honest, of those, three are on the layout, the Schools, a West Country and the Class 205. If and when they move, the sound is rarely turned on - unless the grandchildren are visiting. I did alter the CV's on one to reduce the sound. I only made this video clip to see whether it would work, in as much that it was made with my phone, and then downloaded on to Flickr, and I think is almost two minutes long. It took some mastering to operate the phone, three loco's and a turntable - several times I hit the wrong button and a loco stopped dead and went in the other direction. This will not be a regular feature. :) BB

I have just added the Belisha Beacons and the zebra crossing - the beacons came from Kyte Lights. I have also realigned the pavement outside the station (currently off the layout) and added a taxi rank - taxis from Oxford Diecast. I have also obtained some street lights - not sure about the design - I did not want something too modern or to antiquated - so when fitted I will see how they look. I have also some more people to add. So lots of small things going on at the moment. If you click on the picture you can see the belisha beacons working - currently working off of a 3v battery - but will attach to 12v in time.

Wow, what a super layout! I really like the lighting, you've managed to get it just right in my view. And I really enjoyed that last video you posted, gosh sound is tempting. :)
