Very nice :) Can you print out multiple copies of these once you've bought them? I wondered about a second layer of the stone cladding with some thin card between. As has been said, the open window is a nice touch :)

Thanks chap :). Yes you can print as many as you like. I've printed 6 copies so far!

There is a part in the print out for those concrete and brick crossbeams which I have yet to add. That and the capping stones will finish it.

I wasn't really happy with how my road looked, and I have been racking my brains for an alternative. The Smooth It system? Too messy. Polyfilla? Same issue. DAS clay? Too much required for the area, plus the added weight. Plain painted cardboard? Too plain looking with no texture.

I decided to try WS modeling sheets. I bought the 8 pack of 1/16th inch. Same stuff those polystyrene planes you could buy from corner shops are made from.

What do you think? I can carve potholes and cracks into it.

Very clever! I'd not of thought of that. The joins are very neat :) If you wasn't happy with it it makes sense to start over.

Distress it just a little and it should look fine! Very neatly laid.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps, most appreciated.

Took advantage of the glorious sunshine to get some messy jobs done.

Track has been weathered and ballasted. Some light ground cover has also been done.

I'm in the process of finishing the road, hopefully that will get done tonight.

Yes a spray job with rattle cans. A white and a black. Both matt.

Thought so :) Airbrushes don't have that wide a field of spray. It looks very good, like the colour has been walked around or worn in by vehicles. Very natural :)
Will any stock be given a snow job?

Glad to be of service Michael :)

I'm tempted to add snow to some of the stock, especially to 2099, the RS-2, at the bottom of the ploughs. I shall wait until I get the snow and test it before I reach a decision.

The road has been finished. :)

Good stuff - I DO like box cars and switchers! Think I should have stuck with H0! Thanks for the moving pictures.

Moving pictures are always better aren't they Dave? :)

Thanks Thomas. I hope I do provide you with inspiration.

Backscenes are due to be completed this weekend. Pics when completed.
