Jim, where do I start?
Such a long view creates a babble of comments!
First, it clearly shows the granular detail that you go to, truly exhibition quality!
Thanks very much for sharing (yours and another on here have been my favourites on here for a long time, but I think you just bumped up to number one!)
I don't want to bump you up to much so I need to bring you down after the high!

So here are some critisisms.....

I'm still thinking.........

ahem, still scrutinising.........

well I am nearly stumped :|
so I will have to scrape the barrel for some crumbs......

One engine does not have real coal! phew, found one!

Re: panning
You need a steady cam! If you can weld, I can knock up a steady boom in 3D for you to make two of. One for you and one for me!

Or just buy one of these

Thanks for that TimberSurf, my excuse for the plastic coal in the 9F is:
I have only just bought it and it has to go for a weathering job and real coal is
added in with the price. Well that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it

Think that boom may be overkill, I have trouble swinging cats in the basement,
I will keep practising my technique.

Thanks again,

Jim.

That posting that said 'One final video' had me almost fall out
of my chair !!
Then as I continued it came into context ........

My favourite layout and I don't think the magazine article
of a while back did it justice - it offered even more.

I suppose a video a month would do ......... not asking too much is it ?

Thanks Joshv8 and Dave.
Geoff T, one a month it is then. Well apart from this month, here's another :D

Recently purchased s/h a Bachmann Austerity which had had sound fitted by
Olivia's and also had a weathering job by Olivia's too.

Seen here running on Millsend for the first time, thought I'd share it.

That's really filthy !!
Ideal for the Millsend 'tired' steam look.
I can understand why you just 'had' to have it.

Jim, that once a month is the accepted Minimum.
Additional postings more than welcome.

We had one member who had something similar, if not even more expensive. Gave great pictures of a great layout, shame about the bloke, bit big headed and a bit of a bully. Insisted on having all of his posts deleted when Geoff gave him an ultimatum.

Ha! Ha! Remember him, had the gall to complain that not enough people were commenting about his layout but didn't contribute to any other thread!

just watched the video, what an amazing layout! dirt and grime everywhere and lots of interesting bits and bobs to catch the eye.

I had to pause bits so I could see what you've done!

Gives me some inspiration of what can be achieved - well done excellent work!!

Thanks for the comments.

Thought I'd post a short clip of 2 sound fitted Class 40's, nearest loco
D338 has South West Digital and the rear loco D210 has Howes sound.

Think I prefer the Howes

What extraordinary sound and interior lighting. Any chance of persuading you to shoot some more video? This layout definitely in my top ten faves. I caught the video of the coal rake, that is just terrific. My cat joined me in watching it...

Thanks Chops for your comments, hope the video didn't send your cat to sleep :)

I will see if I can do something this weekend on the video front.

Jim.
