Hi Jim,

The videos look good to me. Sound seems ok too. It really shows off your layout. Didn't realise how long the bridge was until I saw the trains trundling over it.

Nice work.

Thanks
Dan

Thanks everyone for your positive comments, they really are appreciated.

This is a short video showing another recent purchase, (arrived today :) ). A Bachmann
9f fitted with Zimo sound and a sugar cube speaker, all fitted into the loco body, no
wires connecting loco to tender for the speaker like my other locos.

It has been weathered, but I think it needs more all over to take away the plastic look
and give it that end of life run down look I remember seeing in the mid sixties.

Very happy with it all round, another one for the Millsend loco depot. (Needs a loco crew).

Thanks for looking ... Jim.

Thought I'd share another short video (2 mins).

I let the Jubilees stretch their legs today, also found the volume adjustment on
the camera, hidden away where no one could find it

Fantastic videos! What actually stood out to me was the weathering on the station canopies followed by the grass and trees on the bank behind the platform. Absolutely amazing realism. The tracks layed beautifully. I may not have seen it but did you have a track plan in the thread somewhere? Because did i miss something or did that jubilee loop behind the layout?

Thanks for your comments Glencairn and TimberSurf, the fireman leaning out
just sums up steam engines passing by in the sixties for me.

Joshv8; There is a track plan somewhere in my thread, but this is a
better one I think, it's more or less correct apart from one or two buildings.

So Jim - is Millsend complete but never finished (or is it the other way round), any plans for further extensions, building work etc, or is it time for just enjoying playing trains (and why not!) :D

Thanks for the track plan, helps get your head around it! I find the turntable in the corner accessing both the engine yard and sidings grand.
Its exceptionally well thought out to maximise on operational interest yet still maintains looking prototypical.

Jim; Is it finished? haha just never sure, a few possible upgrades
are possible, but yes, just enjoying the running sessions now.

Joshv8; Thanks for your positive comments.

One final video, well for this week anyway :D

Thought I would do a slow pan around the layout to show
all the areas maybe not seen before with a glimpse inside
the goods depot and engine shed.

I haven't mastered the art of passing the camera from
one hand to the other seamlessly, so a few shakes here and there.

Marvellous railtour. Nice to go the whole way around.
Just the one solitary blue/grey coach ready for the next era of BR I see!
