Thanks Pete.

Final pictures of the goods shed after weathering today. Might take a couple
in daylight as these are a little dark.

Really pleased with how it turned out. It will now go on a shelf until I get
round to preparing the ground where it will live on the layout.

What's next?

Hi

That really is a nice building, particularly like the use of brick paper on the inside. I'm sure it'll look stunning on your layout.

Bloody brilliant, the over all look of it is just great, screams midland.I think that the chimneys look just right being in proportion with it's over all size. Railways buildings were not always built to be practical but with it's appearance in mind to its customers.

Well done something to be proud of.

Magnificent. To produce a building of such detail and interest purely from your own imagination is quite something.

Right Jim, time for you to go and take a long holiday away from the layout so that us mere mortals can catch up! :D

This standard and pace of modelling is really showing me up.

Thanks for all your comments, really appreciated, I must be dong something right

Made a start on this little building today, it will join the goods depot
building in the goods yard eventually. It is meant to be a sort of Bothy/
Brew/Rest/Office type building, the ones we've all seen scattered about
railway yards.

Left to do is chimneys (2), window ledges etc., and then a coat of paint,
before a good weathering session to finish. Size 120mm x 40mm.

This is it so far:

Thanks for the positive comments.

A couple of pictures of the small building for the goods yard
after a coat of paint, once it's dry overnight I'll give it a
weathering session tomorrow to finish it off.

This little office was built with leftovers from my
other 2 builds, so total outlay was zero.

That's 3 scratch built buildings done and really pleased
with how they've turned out, I'm converted

I think you have been hiding your LED under a bushel! :D
Fantastic results, I love your grimey buildings and your scratch built ones are even better

Thanks TimberSurf.

I said I would post a few pictures taken in daylight of the depot, as the office
is now finished I thought I'd post a few of both, ready now for the layout.
