hi everybody , i hope this photo works? this is my new layout. the 4th on this baseboard. gone is the messy loose ballast and in with the pre-scatter underlay. all the rail joints have been soldered and flexi track replaced the set curves.
the station is in the planning stage, normally this is as far as i get. a short over track stage for a transport depot with a roadway down to track level. all digital, running three trains on three separate circuits with a forth track allowing shunting in the goods yard and engine sheds.
the problem with the last layout was that i had not planned for the station. after trying to squeeze it in and failing , the result is a complete new start.
after all these years i should have known better. always plan first........
