To be fair the rock faces that are painted are made from chicken wire, covered with plaster cloth then brushed with fine filler. All in all took 2 days to complete. Painted with a wash of Woodland Scenics yellow ochre, oversprayed with halfords zinc primer and then drybrushed with some creamywhite emulsion. The expanding foam you can see in the other pic is an experiment but so far is costing too much. The first range (photo 1 & 3) is about 6 foot long, it will have 3 tracks at the base with various buildings dotted around. Toying with the idea of a mountain road but we'll see.

expanding foam
forget the expanding foam idea !
You get the same effect as just using the wire mesh and plaster bandage except it cost about another £32 per 4 foot of hill !!
Worthwhile experiment but can't see any great benefit at the end of the day. Will post some more pics later when I have sorted the lighting out a bit more.
