Too right, a proper bit of heroic engineering that looks like its in a real landscape.

Ditto, the viaduct looks great even if it does only have three arches!

Looking at it again I particularly like the bricked-up arch on the left. Nice bit of detail that.

That brick should have been used on the inside of the arches. But because I had extended the depth of each arch. It was too small so I used it there instead.

Thanks for all the comments. Total cost ~£15.00

I really am impressed with Metcalfe.

This weeks progress:

Postby mark_brody » Sun May 20, 2007 7:22 pm

Basically I've been bashing another Metcalfe kit to make a tunnel portal wide enough for 3 lines. Also been working on the river running through the vaiduct. To the front will be a wier and I'm planning on using the Woodland Scenic stuff.

Things need tidying up a bit now, and I'm hoping to get the scatters down on the banks this week, but the heat in the loft is slowing me down. I need it to rain and cool the roof down - phew! I'm sweaty.

Nice job on the tunnel portal - wouldn't have known it was kit bashed if you hadn't mentioned it.
