Sorry for a lack of updates recently things have been busy.

- not done a massive amount on the layout finished the painting of the small engine shed doors blue, may well do the main shed's doors the same colour at some point.
- Done a small bit of ballasting of grey with a little mix of black cinder on what would be the running line from the shed area to the preserved line.
- painted the diesel fuelling point and finally got a diesel on the layout to use it

will try to upload some photos but flickr is playing up at the minute

and also the facebook page for my layout: https://www.facebook.com/Allenrail?ref=hl
If it steam and runs on rails i like it.
If its big, red and goes 'NEE-NAW' i like it

The "jinx038" shot of the loco area looks really good - suitably "filfy and derty" (sic). If the rest of the layout is up to this standard when you've finished (if ever) it'll look really realistic.

thanks guys

Been a bit of while since I posted on here about the layout, not much work has been happening at the moment however I have now got the scatter for the layout and need to buy some walling to go around the fuel tank, I did finally get the lights in the prep area sorted and working.
But mostly I've just been playing whenever I've got the chance to be at the layout mocking scenes up (I enjoy that part the most). Will get some photos up soon
