Well done excellent progress.
Look forward to seeing finished platforms.
Don't let the fiddle maker anywhere near those platform fences?

hi
thanks for kind words. here's the finished items then
please excuse the number of photos, i wanted to show wider views of the layout as i realised most of my recent shots have been of small sections of work that's been done
first up is the platforms, on the raised section,

I agree with Tim - good work mate!
If any moneys going to fall out of the sky I hope it falls in equal amounts on everybody's layouts.
I also noted that the tree's have been replanted (saved from the fiddle maker).

no sorry , easy to make your own
seriously they took minutes to make
nice thick card, a few measurements to make sure one fits, use it as a template...
cut the rest from that
paint black, cover with pva then coal, or substitute, add two big dollops of glue in required position, more coal/sub poke into shape, leave to dry then paint if needed.
i did mine inbetween making dragon puppets with my girls in a morning.
here are the test ones i did
first with proper modellers coal that i thought too large, [glue not dried]
Image
then the bird grit painted black.. too flat hence the mounds!
Image
thanks again though for feedback, really spurs me on :D

Splendid video matey, very impressed by that large space you got there almost makes me think about going to have a poke around up in my loft and checking it out.
