I presume there will be a 'POINTS 2' which will be even more rivetting !!

Seriously tho , I like what you've done with the LEDs although I don't fancy the idea of retro-wiring 27 points to include them on mine !

Looks bloody great Michael and it will be so satisfying changing lines later on with a cup of tea in your hand just sat there whilst loons like me are running across the room with the hand of god!

i must say i did chuckle heartily to myself when i flicked that first switch, the point clicked across and the leds changed
very satisfying.. now to do the other 21 and the 20 or so isolating switches that need power feeds doing!

The isolating ones should be the easiest to do - just 2 wires.

Know what you mean about the effect that buzzy 'snap' has upon you when you realise the points work. It does make you feel a bit like Brunel if only for a very short time, lol :)

Reminded me of the Simpson's episode when Homer's in the car playing with the courtesy light. "Light goes on... light goes off... light goes on..."

Its amazing how good something like that can make you feel though - one of those "I made that" moments. And just think... you have another 21 of those moments still to come.
