Yes have a really good christmas, then come back and tell us how to make a lever frame like that, it certainly makes GEMs effort look amateur.

Brilliant layout, nice to see someone modeling Green Park/Queen Square, go past it most days to and from work! :)

I can see all images until page 2, Saturday 30th March post. Shame, I would very much like to see those that have vanished but appreciate the problems and time required to resurrect them.

I can see some but not all - even within a particular post like the one at the top of page 3 that has multiple images.

I've just taken a scan through and a couple of missing image place holders have appeared, one of which seems not to relate to the pictures referenced in the text. The words match the pictures I can see, so what's the one that's missing. I'd say let it ride for now Clive and try to find a way round it.

For those who've noticed missing photos here's the explanation from Clive's PM to me.

Imageshack emailed back to say that they have restored my 'old' account and now all the images are available. It would seem that it was after I saw images missing from the thread and tried to log into Imageshack that their site thought I was opening a new account, hence there were no images available. It would seem to be pot luck whether thread viewers saw images from the old account or none from the 'new' account which I didn't know I had in the first place!

If you deem necessary, (I have no objection at all ) the posts relating to this problem can be deleted from Bath Queen Square. I will add a post in the 'Photo problem in thread' to end the matter, or if you wish, that thread can be deleted as well.

I think I'll leave the comments in place. Editing when not necessary only provides computers with extra opportunities to exercise their independence!

Hi to each and all,
Its' been a little while since I updated so thought I'd show a few photos of what I've been, slowly, up to.

Have added gutters and downpipes to a few buildings and continued the ivy onto the shed roof.

And a few yard lamps

I didn't like the way the scenery suddenly stopped so spent a little while converting the corner to include a farm road over bridge which will eventually lead to a farm yard and barn buildings. The buildings, when completed, will hide the controls and the first has been done to hide the point lever assembly.

How it started, and has then progressed.

Now to complete the farmyard bit, right coloured concrete, machinery, buildings etc.

Probably be another 6 months before I update again !!

It's great to see the transformation from plain baseboards to the final result, which I must say looks very good. The shed looks great too.

Some nice work there. It's a shame you don't have dates to indicate how long various stages
of change have taken.
Once ballast, grass & fencing are added it makes it look great.

I really like the colour of the track. That looks top notch. I'd love to see a video of some locos moving around.

I'm slowly working on that but have got a problem downloading a video from my camera to the computer. Will get it sorted in time.
Watch this space as they say

Steven Speilberg, eat your heart out !

Here is a very amateurish video of my layout in action. Excuse the very poor quality but I could have done with having another pair of hands to control speeds, switch points, change section switches and control the camera. The jerkiness in places is not of my making but of trying to adjust focus.

Anyway, here is a brief moment in time (well about 10 mins) from Bath Queen Square, better to view it in small screen but don't blame me if you end up with a headache.!!

And it all comes to a sudden halt because I forgot to change the point !
