Here's a video of some running trains with that camera from a track side perspective.

Inspired :D
An unusual angle for a model video, but of course a very familiar view/angle in real life. Those trains really rattle by in a most impressive way. Excellent :D

Not much happening but bought a new camcorder in anticipation of providing some half decent updates
Just trying it out at the moment.

Another great video Steve :D - I particularly like the slow goods train at the start. I'd be interested to know if your trains run at scale speeds :?: - the HST looks impressive and realistic at speed, but that DMU looks a bit more sprightly than in my experience in real life

Thanks. :)

I have no idea about scale speeds but you're right, that 150 certainly moved off a bit sharpish
They're not called Sprinters for nothing I suppose :D

Well I just realised I've put the side walls in the wrong way round so I've just demolished this and will start again.
It was a blessing in disguise really because early on I realised I'd printed everything on the wrong side of my photo paper and this alone had been niggling me!
Two big lessons learned :D

If anyone is still interested in my layout progress (slow as it is) then head over to the BR Blue forum where I will be posting updates from now on.
There will be no more here.

After a day contemplating, I will continue here also and see how the interest is.
I threw my toys out last night because no one seemed interested.

We all get that feeling now and again, some posters complain, some posters quietly accept it as just part of growing up and being British.
Persevere, you will progress and attract some fans and admirers.

The true test of interest is not the responses, but the number of "views". You have no need to be downhearted. There is a lot of interest!

yep, I view this every time a post is added, but don't want to clog it up with 'that's nice posts' really enjoying this.

The Scalescenes Large Station Building re build is still in progress but at the same time I've been working on a station extension.
I really wanted to run at least a 7 coach HST but realised a while back that it just doesn't fit comfortably in my terminus.
As you can see here it was sitting over a double slip preventing me from operating anything over it.

As luck would have it, I had about 500mm to gain the other end into the recess next to the chimney. :)

So now my HST sits comfortably in Kingswood Junction 8)

Hopefully you will see some ballast in the next update :D
