ha, the monopoly is rarely played, but it does fit snugly under the layout! Track laying has continued, around 60% of the mainline has now been laid and wired up. The next job it to build more boards so track laying can (when more arrives on tuesday) continue, with luck I should be able to have trains running full circle by wednesday evening when I go back to work.

it was scratch built for an exhibition layout by a model railway club in Watford (i believe it was called Longdon), they took the layout apart last year and I managed to buy the station, single road engine shed and a goods shed that was on the layout from them for a very reasonable rate, I have fitted lights to all these buildings including the station and eventually they will all be wired up to illuminate the layout.

Phase 1 of track laying and board building is now complete and wired. The track shown in black is laid, the track show in red is to be added once the boards have been built.
