Discussed this with Dad-1 when it started . The intention is to lock it down and make it "sticky" at the top of its forum. Any one got photos they haven't yet posted get 'em in before it's locked.

Don't panic Jas, I fly to Malta on Saturday for a week so you've a bit of time to play with. I shall photograph said Private when he is re-captured, he has I believe escaped custody at this moment! Meanwhile the recently restored 20 brings Norma into Goatbridge station.

More adventures for Norma when I return from me jollies! :D

Norma went on a little trip on Saturday, gatecrashing The Flying Scotsman's test run after repairs...

I say, I don't recall seeing that small green engine before :P Nice pic, how does Scotsman run?

That little green job has been kicking around for ages Alex! Might move it on though, doesn't really get any use. The Scotsman is running nicely now, but it's taken a lot of work...

For some reason I don't remember seeing it before, is it in LNER livery??

Hopefully you can do a similarly successful restoration job on my g*y Crusader when I can afford to send it, and the 3MT and Duchess :P

Looking forward to the next tour now, seeings as I actually have something that resembles a layout now :)

I've given it an LNER livery, it arrived in some sort of pretend GWR colours! And I assume that when locos were named all those years ago the sensitivities of the 2013 Internet weren't taken into account!

Well seeing as I was off work ill for a couple of days last week I decided it was about time to let Norma have a proper run around Goatbridge. She clearly wanted a run as she'd jumped into the Scotsman's rake of carriages last week by way of a subtle hint! So I summoned up enough energy to have a little running session. First she met Bert and the Mongrel Scot
Image
Then offered friendly advice while the B12 assembled a mixed freight for the 9F
Image

Image
The Mongrel Scot took Norma for a run round, before her head was turned by the sight of the magnificent big, red, shiny... Streamlined King George!
Image
Who whizzed her round the layout at such a speed she began to feel quite ill
Image
So she was pleased to see the friendly 20, who shunted her into the sidings to recover
Image
Once she felt better, Hogwarts Castle shunted her over to the loco stabling to tell the tales of her travels so far.
Image
Finally, she hitched a lift behind 'Spitfire'

This all looks so good, sadly another house move scuppered any plans I had of taking part on this tour, but the upside is that I shall be here for at least a couple of years now so hopefully I can make a continuation on Budgetbrooke in the next month or so.

Hi joshing_man,

I think ...... just think, we may be waiting for tractor37 ........
However I think it's time to merge onto the other '00' tour threads.
If tractor37 comes up with some pictures we can always add on to
the locked multi-tour thread.

So about to merge & lock.
