Some lovely photo's, the church scene looks great with the flowering trees in bloom.

Just wondering if the police managed to talk the man down from the roof ? I know people get depressed but jumping from tall buildings is not the answer....LOL :D

Cheers Mike.

Ha ha great spot lads.....yes I hadn't noticed that a lot of the guys are wearing yellow.....those super cheap chinese figures are a ball-ache to paint but always worth it.....lots and lotsof yellow tho.....very weird......

The Police....well......the guy on the roof will have to make his own way down.......the Plod are way too busy chasing crims through the scrapyard......

Image

And stopping innocent horse box drivers.....

Image

And shock of shocks.....to the rear of the parcels office.....Trinny, Trixie and Tammy do their best to allure innocent moped riders with promises of "Happy Endings"...whatever they are

Image

Tammy is my favourite with her green hot pants.....very fetching....

Enjoy guys, just the night-time shots to come....

Will your night time shots include the three ladies of the night then again better not.
I'll just use my imagination if i can remember that far back.

As ever, the transformation is outstanding Gav!
The Lighting effect for me, gives the layout a lot of character! Especially the overview of the station (one of the last pics)
Transform it to B&W photo and you got the swinging sixties!

Amazing stuff

Hi Gav love your layout very atmospheric. Love the canopy stations, the photos are really good. Im after some tips too. How did you get the dirt & grass around the ballast? Ive just laid the ballast on my layout & it all looks very clean needs to be dirtied up & weathered, with grass & shrubs growing etc.
cheers Keith

Thanks guys,

Very kind comments there......let's see if I can get the replies in properly......

Harry the goods shed is a kit.....

http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1343_1_1039771.html

Not cheap at all but a lovely kit and a really enjoyable build.....

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the question about the lineside, it's honeslty too easy that's it's almost cheating.....

Simply when you track is all ballasted and looking nice and clean......I used a sharp pair of scissors and very thinly cut lichen along the lineside letting it fall wherever it wants.....you get a lovely uneven random look this way......

Then I use the lid of an aerosol with some woodland scenics earth scatter (A dark green or brown) and simply run it along the same area tapping the lid with my finger to allow small amounts of scatter to fall over the area.....

When this is done I then repeat the same process with the black woodland scenics scatter and try not to cover the whole area, thus leaving parts of the green scatter and ballast showing through, it is really as easy as that.....

Good luck with it.

It would appear that whilst I have been in hibernation you have had a productive winter Gav, its good to see.

Tammy could do with a mate or two

Now where did I put that loft ladder!
