Haha, i think free seems a reasonable price
Think passengers might be able to ride in the brakevans, its the cab you should sneak into! I suggest the beattie well tanks as the first step! :D
Thanks Alex!

Are the Beattie cabs spacious? :P

Free sounds like a good price indeed :D

I like breakvan rides as they are less common

I dont know about space tbh  didnt think of that lol.
Free is very good, wont make much profit with transportation of locos etc but i dont care
Im looking forward to a nice brakevan ride from Llangollen to Carrog at next years Steel, Steam and Stars 3 gala, may even get 60163 Tornado hauling it :D

Anyone else have any comments about the gala advert?

Today i was spending my money, BUT instead of getting a large blue loco i was hoping to find, i got a small blue loco instead, along with a coaling stage! :)

And finally, i was looking at a photo on dads computer the other day and decided to create a small section of Broad Gauge. There will be a small shed which will be able to take one tender loco (Firefly or Iron Duke when i get round to it) but for now, the loco that i will build for this will be South Devon Railway 0-4-0VBT Tiny. I will use 7mm scale track with 4mm scale locos and stock. The 7mm track will be placed on the same area as the museum standard gauge line, the 00 track will sit inside the 7mm track. I know it wont be exactly right but a broad gauge representative will do for now! So i will leave you all with this photo of Tiny!

Anyway, a new Bachmann Pullman has arrived, i will post photos on here later on. This brings my pullman rake up to 6 (2 observation cars being part of the rake)

Well my loving father bought me a bachmann collett goods today, 2251 in BR unlined Green with Early crests, shes a little beauty and while i remove the emblems from the tender and add new late crests, she is running with the tender from my old 3205 (slighly darker green than my new one)
This and one of my all time favourite locos will be joining my Autumn Gala, the other loco being BR (E) 69023 Joem, no connections to Cornwall, just a major favourite! :D

Sometime this week i will be doing a photo charter using my newly aquired Collett Goods 2251. It will have a Cambrian feel to it with 7812 Erlestoke Manor, 3MT 82045 and 4575 5526 taking part. There will be a goods train and mk1 set for the manor, collett and 3mt while the prairie will run with the autocoach.

Here are the Cambrian themed photo charter photos, sadly 7812 Erlestoke Manor was unavailable from the SVR so only 3205, 5526 and 82045 took part.
Image
3205 brings the freight train into Llanidloes.
Image
3205 from the other side.
Image
The autocoach leads as 5526 departs from the bay.
Image
5526 departs the platform at the other end of the line with the newly built pagoda shelter in the background.
Image
5526 arrives as 82045 departs.
Image
82045 arrives with the Aberystwyth portion of the CCE.
Image
Line up of all three locos that took part.
In other news here is my new Morris Minor van.
Image
Image
The narrow gauge line has started running.
Image
35005 Canadian Pacific is seen on one of her last runs before a general overhaul, her wheels will be cleaned and she will be checked over but the main thing to do is to find out why the front bogie keeps derailing on the points and to rectify the clicking noise that occurs when the loco turns to the left.
Image
Her last train is seen arriving into Llanidloes. The railway hopes she wont be out of use for long.
Image
The Pway team depart for a quick routine check.
Image
Meanwhile the National Railway Museum has released their Black Five 5000 for overhaul and use at the railway. She is expected to have a fast track overhaul before joining the roster.
Talking of a loco roster, i will be adding one in the next post! :)
