Merry christmas and a happy new year from AllenRail, and lets hope the negotiations for one of the locomotives that AllenRail is custodians for to visit the EGR will come to fruition in the next weeks
If it steam and runs on rails i like it.
If its big, red and goes 'NEE-NAW' i like it

Hi Kenny,

I'd wondered where you were ........ long time no posting.
I see you have the GWR 72XX there - I'm still waiting for mine (DCC fitted BR) due some time before the next millenium.
looking for those next updates.

Oh and I won't delete this one - I know how to use the Mods tools now - I think ??

Hey guys, yeah sorry, been having a bit of internet trouble, got a better connection now so should see some more posts in the future :)

The 72xx is a real dream, it may not be extremely detailed like the other locos but I think it looks great still, runs well too!

More photos and an update will hopefully appear later today.

Things have changed a bit since my last photos.

I now have all the boards in place, track is now laid and scenery is starting to be added! There is now a fiddle yard at the furthest end of the line, another station (called Merry Hill) with passing loop and fun fair and the terminus has just been redeveloped and is now renamed Cabot Cove. Merry Hill is going to be redeveloped again in the near future to make it a bit more user friendly (the current passing loop is a bit tight for the locos!)
Anyway, some more photos showing new residents and some visitors too! These were taken on a 60s style running day.

Hi Kenny, great to see some progress on the scenery, are you just home for the hols these days? Current project is a cut and shut on a pair of Lima Class 117s to give a 121 bubblecar. Going to paint it in GWR 175 celebration livery. Must take some piccies.
