Wow Boischaut,

You've been digging deep to find this one.
It shows how you don't need acres of space to build
a fun railway. Thanks for the comment.
Notice the similarity to the Thomas at Bride Bay layout.
I used the same basic folding layout size where hills on
one side fit into hollows on the other. Easy to store and
move around. Exchange Thomas stock for other small
branch line stuff and it becomes a real layout.

I have managed to re-enter all the still images and while doing this over the last few days
thought I would bring out of the depths of history for a few reasons.
One it's a good example of what can be made in a short time span.
Two being a folding layout requires limited storage space.
Three has a few design features others may want to try - like track being set below a protective edge

AND MOSTLY showing that with care, perseverance, and bloody minded determination the missing images
can be replaced. PLEASE will members try their best to update their older projects, or I fear we will have
to delete many good builds because without images they often become worthless shells !!

There is little the Moderators can do to help you, but we will give as much advice as we can to reconstruct.

I have done what little I have left...

I hd tons of big threads and thousands of posts before Fotopic went under a few years ago. Now its Photobucket, I am reluctant to commit to a third 'free' provider, but do not want to pay just to host pictures.

Dave,

We can now host pictures directly in NRM, these should then be safe unless we have
a major server failure. Certainly for all the lack of direct interventions Simon is still
keen on keeping NRM as a relevant and dynamic webforum.
