I hope everything is OK SteamerDave, and that you got the models? I've not heard from you.

Has this tour ground to a halt? Have enjoyed looking at all the layouts. Any news, anyone prompting by PM, MSN, Facebook or whatever?

Just had a PM from Dave to say he's got the wagons. SR/ScR Fan is next on the list and should get them very soon. :D

Glad to hear they've arrived at the next destination. No pictures from SteamDave? :(

On a cold and frosty morning in southern england...

Image

Not a sound to be heard...

Image

3 very unusual wagons arrived...

Image

With the strangest livery ever seen on a wagon...

Image

Being pulled by a shivering A1X...

While the driver and fireman sneaked off for a brew...

Image

The 08 crew just couldn't resist...

Image

Then they spent a rather long and dull afternoon shunted up to a very frozen wagon. Talk about being giving the cold shoulder...

Image

Until a very kind J94 took them to hopefully warmer climates.

Great little story. The ice covered wagon looks really good - reminds me of the Canadian ice storm a few years ago.

Not sure about warmer climate, they are heading less than 5 miles down the "track"!

Because my N gauge layout is laid up in my storage unit (read "next doors garage") I have had to build a small diorama just for these wagons! My wife thinks I am nuts.

SR/ScR fan dropped the tour off last night so once my river has dried I will take some photos and forward it on! Great to be part of this, thanks!
