Thanks for your interest guys. The 00 tour went to 20 people so will look to gain around the same for the N gauge tour. Once we're there we can then discuss the order which to send the wagon to.

Congratulations Hiffano on the new impending arrival.

OK here are the wagons I am prepared to donate to the cause.

They are excellent runners but are fitted with Rapidos, but I'm happy for them to be converted or I could supply a 2nd set of wagons for conversion to another coupling type. I have some others with fleischmann Profi couplings, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one using them on here.
I have a nice little metal box I will supply with foam inserts to keep the wagons safe in transport

What do you think?

I am back in the UK on the 5th Jan so whoever is doing the paint job could let me know their postal address Ill get them sen on 6th Jan.

Rapidos will be the best bet I should think, as everyone will have stock capable of pulling them. Any other coupler will be a recipe for disaster imo.

Thanks for donating the wagons - they look great. I'll make sure they're given suitable running if the tour gets going

Plenty of space Claude so will add you to the tour list.

E2V Those wagons would be great. Thank you so much for offering these and 2nd MrT on the Rapido point - I will leave these on. I'll PM you my address shortly.

I have an N layout under construction, but I don't really understand what this is about - any chance of a bit more explanation of what is expected from participants?

This is a tour of some wagons specially kitted out with a livery for the Olympic Games in 2012 (similar to the 00 gauge tour). The idea is the wagons go from one member to another, sometimes overseas, then each member taking part takes a photo (or more) of the wagons on their layout before sending the wagons on to the next person in the list. You will need to PM the next member in the list for their address to send the wagons to.

Deltic1981 - have added you to the list.

That's great, thanks. I'm getting the paperwork ready for the package so the tour should be pretty well ready to depart shortly.
