No it wasn't started. The previous tour ended when the wagons went missing - possibly with Raider!

If you want to do a tour and organise in the way Geoff has done the 00 tour then I can make it a sticky topic for you.

I don't think it has ever been discussed until now. The previous N gauge tour seems to have completely come to an end with a missing van months ago. It would be interesting to see one run however, although you would need to get a tour moderator, a bit like what Dad-1 is doing with the current OO tour, and someone good enough to design the N gauge Olympic van...

It would be useless for me to do however... I kinda model in OO!

Cheers,

Stuart.

If there is enough interest in this then I am happy to organise one. I can make up an Olympic wagon (or two) so that is not a problem. I've just contact Geoff via PM for some advice as I'd like to run this in a similar fashion to his 00 version.

We'll try and time it but if I end up making a Christmas layout for next year I'll want to take some pics then too!

OK it's good to hear there's a fair bit of interest in this so let's make a go of this! E2V what are these Trix wagons you have? Otherwise I can get a wagon in the New Year and get it detailed up ready for the tour.

Andrew - Please could you make this a sticky so I can start getting some names together and I'll edit the starting post to add the interested members to a list.

I wish you success,

Dare I say by far the majority of NRM members are good reliable guys & gals (I think we have 1 or 2)
so a tour with perhaps the odd surprise can be 'fun'

I share the sentiments of Dad-1 in that I hope for success of an N gauge tour. While I might not be an 'N' err myself either, I do think there are some very good N gauge layouts out there too that I follow the updates of with interest. An Olympic N gauge tour alongside the OO tour sounds like a cracking idea!

Cheers,

Stuart.
