you will end up with a VERY BIG SURPRISE like I got when you find out how much the grand total is when the layout is complete (Note I did not say finished).
When I was young single and still living with my parents and modeling in "N" scale.
I kept tabs on how much I was spending for insurance purposes.
Suffice to say it never got insured because the premiums where just far to High.
The total I got to before I stopped watching it was $19,000
To put this figure into perspective at that time, that kind of serious money would have bought a Three Bed room One Bath room house on a 1/2 acre block and completed garden to the fashion of the day.
That required nothing more than a re paint and then only if you did not like the color.
Obviously this was not all spent at once, but it is very surprising how fast a couple of dollars here and a couple of dollars there mounts up.
Maybe I should have bought the house
