Shame about the Kidwelly Castle - I'd love to see more sound videos - 'trouble is, the more I see, the more I want!!

Re: loft layout by laira depot
Just a quick one regarding the Viessmann lights. I got a pack of six today but the instructions are all in German and i only speak Yorkshire and Bad... Are they to be wired in paralell or serial and what do you power them with? there is a warning on the box about 14-16 volts but I don't know if it means to use voltage between this range or not to!
Re: loft layout by laira depot
Maybe you could find something on the net to translate it? Just a thought? Hope it helps

Hi there,
as I have a few Viessmann items I can assure you that you need to use 14-16 volts. They usually come ready-wired to a resistor and are thus to be operated paralell.
I have to admit that I don't know whether you have an AC exit from your controller as many German controllers have. Those are to exactly for stuff like lamps, signals, point motors... Anyway, this is what the lamps have to be operated with.
Cheers
