Look forward to seeing the photos of this layout progressing. 10x3 is nice and big in N gauge with plenty of scope for scenics as well as full length trains.

Hi folks just a quick update. The layout is still progressing just very slowly. All track laid and soldered and all point motors in. Just about to start connecting the bus wire and point motors. Photos soon, they are taken just need to put them on here. The only problem is I keep changing my mind about placement of buildings and actual industries. Oh well get there in the end hopefully.

Thought it was time i added some pics for you.
The baseboards done.

A few with the track started and the obligatory pint lol

And the end result.

All electrics in now just starting on the point motors and deciding on a mimic board.

Re: Modernish in N
Hi all just another quick update, point motors all wired up now and mimic board nearly completed. Think i may have over complicated it but will put some pics up soon. I was hoping to pick peoples brains re. My station. I have now decided to have this raised above the tracks on the right side with trains going into a tunnel. I would like some kind of stairs or elevators leading down to 3 platforms. Any idea or prototypes i could look at. Ta muchly
