The last of general grass laid today. Still wet with watered down PVA, I'll have to wait until
tomorrow to really see the finished result. Then if O.K I can fix the last pieces of fencing,
paint the fence posts and attach the 5 barred gate.

A final area to work will be the pond. This time I'll use my green Aqua Magic, then again
after those delays while things dry out I'll have to add a stand of reeds next to the fence.
I might get around to weathering the painted steel sides of that bridge before that, it sort
of stands out, far too clean.

Dave, I'm working in more gentile times as well as this being in wild country.
No spray cans invented, too far from mass populations for anyone wanting to
carry a tin of paint !!
All we have is the mild decay from weather over the last 50 years. Any rolling
stock plonked on it will be from the 30's to 50's, but I bet there will be photos
taken with something a little more modern.

My weathering :-

That gate is just parked there pending the final fencing being fixed, yet the idea
of a gate laying there pending some future field fencing is attractive - build
another gate ?

Hi Dave,

I think another gate is on order ...... in reality from pieces of plastic card, but it's winter (almost).
A busy day, fencing finished, that gate now hung, the pond filled.

Some life there now.

Not finished, but getting there.

Hi Dave,

Hidden in there is a flash of my humour .......
Notice the stroppy sheep deciding what to do about the sheepdog !!

My sheep have not wandered far ......
These will be the last pictures of my 2019 club diorama competition entry.
I spent a little time today adding reeds down the back of my pond, all still wet PVA, but I can't wait.

I do enjoy making up rural scenes and it's a good place to learn your scenic skills.
