It'll also get brighter with lighting because of you ;)

I did encourage it a bit didn't I?

Cheers,

Stuart.

Chris mate, that last set of pix are superb. And thanks for the reveal pictures to show the corner board off. It's always good to see how different people try different things to create effects. Excellent!

Cheers fella

Loving the lights. Do you mind me asking how you are making the street lamps? I'm thinking about making some lamps myself but not sure where to start

Cheers

It would probably be best putting that on a thread of its own, or just look at this one.

Take a look at page 18 there's a full description there along with a few close-up pics which should help. Bear in mind my design is based on the new style of streetlamps that switch off during the night. Main ingredients are aluminium rod, thin coated wire, resistors, solder and patience! If you are adding your own LEDs it's imperative you add a resistor. I use 470 ohm resistors on a 12v DC circuit.

I like your M&S shop front and Odeon. The lights look fab! I'll stick a post on there shortly...

New arrival at Old Warren this morning: The Arriva Premier Service made its first appearance hauled by 57315. I obtained this rake from a member of another forum for the grand total of £75 all in, paid for in part by items sold on ebay and from my loan insurance. As you can see the colour of the coaches doesn't currently match the loco so I've contacted Adam @ Electra to ask him about doing me a new set of vinyls in the correct colour shade. Will see what he comes back with before I decide where to go with this. It is likely though that the 57 will be repainted into FGW blue and a rake of FGW sleepers made up for it to compliment my night scenes. The Dellner coupling is currently only a sticker so if this loco stays in Arriva livery I'll build a proper Dellner from scratch.

I'm currently watching 4 Westerns on ebay one of which is maroon so if they stay at sensible prices it might not be so long to wait...(hopefully!) These finish tomorrow afternoon.
