G'Day Gents

My God you've had a' Tsunami' and it's washed all your buses in to a heap beside the road, and a lot of buildings have been bulldozed as well !!!! oh, that's tragic, I hope the emergency services can use the 'New' Road !

Looking good  amazing how a layout can change in such a short time.

No... You've got it all wrong here now Mike, he's going to paper mache over it all to make it into a hill! ;)

I bet them 2 terriers pulled a fantastic load  of 2 coaches! Mine managed 4 today!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely photography especially on the distance one from the lorry. And the roads make it look much better, great progress! :)
And it isn't just you! Is Brighton the one you get as a Hornby collector club prize?

Wow that road turned out good, nice to see some shunting getting done too :P

Really like Stepney, and the colours dapol chose are so much better than hornby's. 8)

Yes i was just thinking before i saw what you said that stepney does look much smaller, is it because they are of different types of terrier, one being an early type than the A1/x?

Keep up the good work!

haha the terriers aren't that bad haulage wise. considering their size they are better than my Schools, M7 and T9. Both my Schools and T9 fail to get 4 bach Mk1s and a C van around my layout. they both have to double head with my M7 which is even worse. it can just manage 3 hornby 4 wheelers. the terrier will at least pull a decent load haha

best haulers on my layout are: hornby rebuilt bulleid pacifics, hornby britannia, bach N class, hornby 50, bach 2MT.

Brighton is a Limited Edition Collectors Centre model, 1300 were made.

haha thanks, my layouts not that special lol.

I have loads of work still to do

at the moment its:

-decorate the paper merchants yard with boxes, vehicles, fences, road markings etc
- decorate the brewery yard with the same
- finish off the level crossing on the "QBR mainline"
-buy track and controller for the upper town tram line
- create sunken tram track in the road -
-mark out all roads

hope to do this over summer then I'll have the rest of the layout to finish off and maybe, just maybe it will look presentable for its 10th birthday in 2013

Hornby and Dapol have not done the A1 version of the terrier, only A1X models. Stepney might be a slightly different in size due to it being a dapol model and not a hornby one, hornby might have made them different or something like that.
