Latest wagon additions:

Image

12T Insul-fish Diag 800, 10T SR Cattle wagon and an MoS Pillbox Brakevan

Image

The fish van was originally going to be modelled on the example on the Bluebell, but this one is diagram 801 with updated brake gear and sides. So my one (the diagram 800) took on one of the generic numbers in the transfer sheet!

Image

The 10T Moo-van, complete but awaiting some model Moo's. Had some issues with the paint on this one as can be seen, nothnig abit of weathering can't cure!

Image

Lastly, and not quite finished, the MoS Express Goods Brake Van. A model of one of the 40 vans ordered from the Southern Railway by the Ministry of Supply during WW2. This type of van is essentially an SR diagram 1579 goods brake van (pillbox) but fitted with vacuum braking and a through Westinghouse air brake pipe. Emergency brake application valves were fitted inside the cabin. Modelled on M360328 (or 49018 on the Bluebell again) this van is awaiting its vaccuum cylinders and will be ready to go!

You've done an excellent job on those wagons. I was after a few Blue Spots in 00 on ebay, forgot to place a bid though! Certainly look the part.

Oh yes, the Ivatt, I had forgotten about it since the motor failed on it.

Still awaiting attention and hasn't been out the box since last year!

Unfortunately Hornby don't do motor's for 0 gauge.

ABC Gears and Maxon motors (that are in the Ivatt) are a reputable company, just a duff motor I guess!
