Post pictures and information about your own personal model railway layout that is under construction. Keep members up-to-date with what you are doing and discuss problems that you are having.
Well I a'int done anything more on the layout but here are a couple of videos for you all.
58050 changes from the inner loop to run the outer line.
A candidate for the world's shortest home video!
Anyone who has looked at my layout site recently will know that I plan to add a quarry to my layout.
It will mean the station has to be small er and have only one track and platform but will add a new dimension to the layout and another tunnel with more sidings.
Good videos mate. I think you should add the quarry it will give you more operating interest, it don't matter too much about the station being smaller if you run smaller trains.
Bit off topic but I just found out what your name is off the other day. I got on the train home from town and looked down so as not to slip down the gap and it said "Metro-camel" on the floor. So now I know .
The picture isn't too big I don't think but people have different screen sizes.
I have changed the backgrounds on my site and I will update it soon.
Also I think Metrocamel are under another name now.
Love the layout metro! I keep coming back to have a glance at what you've done so far and its great to see what you've done with such a similar space to mine!
I'll have to get some of the woodland's foliage. Looks great!
I've decided now not to install DCC on my layout yet. I was looking to do so soon but I think the money would be better spent on finishing the layout as there's alot to build and alot of Locos and Rolling Stock to buy still. I've ordered the 00 complete kit for the Sentinel Shunter from Branchlines and it should be underway soon.
On the layout side of things the board has been turned round again to where It will be completed. the small siding board has been placed on again for the quarry and sidings where the smaller single track tunnel is being built. Pics to follow. I've decided to run the road off to teh side of the board now instead of to a scrapyard as the quarry will take up the space there. The station will now only have one platform as the quarry line replaced the second line.
I'll post a layout of the quarry here and on my newly updated website.
I don't know whether you have explained this anywhere or if anyone else has, forgive me if you have. But what are the things on the tracks in this picture?
