Hey George nice weathering job on the Gronk, you've not over done it which means you can always weather it a bit more if you want to.The track is looking good too, maybe a light dusting over the ballast with the airbrush just to blend it all together :)
Sensible idea to downsize your layout mate.I know from experiance how starting something ambitious as your first project can go wrong and leave you feeling dishartened about the hobby,i think youve made a wise decision there. How about a few more pics? :D

It's looking really good. Although I really think you've got to get it off the floor! Apart from the risk of damage from stepping about it all the time you're losing a lot of storage space and underboard accesibility for wiring etc. by leaving it on the floor.

Clearly you don't have dogs or cats!! :P

No animals running around, apart from my little brother!!

Its in a converted barn, i'm the only one who uses the space.. It'll get legs eventually!!

Hi i like your weathering on the shunter and the haa.I guess from your avatar you are a 66 fan.Fair do's i supouse as you are too young to remeber proper trains  However i do like 60's they make a good noise, would be even better if they did not have the silencer  However if you had been around when we had proper engines you would probably aprreciate Vac's,Deltics,37's,40'S,Peaks and even duffs more than todays stuff of which most are crap. The only think i like we have today are some 60'S and the odd 47's still in use on the main line and 57's and the HST which is a classic.I can't stand Sheds,Pendolinos and voyagers and any plastic sprinter crap, even the dmus used to be better. The thumpers were hellfire. :)

Right..

:P

It's what i've grown up with though isnt it?, its not being a 66 fan, its a modern era fan. I like 66s, 60s, etc but Br blue and Deltics and everything in between doesnt make me tick.

I am however, a fan of steam, proper proper trains :)

Great railway so far! Lots of work to go though. This is where i have won with my N gauge layout 6' by 1' still bloody expensive though £118 just for the signals, lights, wire, switches. EEEEK!

Nice videos 8) freightliner train looks great - also the weathered 08 a page or so back. What sort of scenery do you have planned?

Cheers
