here is a very small update but it counts as a big one too. i have now set up a website for the railway, it is still work in progress but it so far has the history o the real line and my loco and coaching stock.

cheers kenny

here is a little update on the loco front. some of my locos will be hving different liveries instead of the exisiting ones, so they can match the real live versions. the first one to have a change id 7820 Dinmore Manor. i first got dinmore at the Tylorstown model show in south wales back in 2008. it was just the loco body so i gave myself the challenge of finding a tender and chassis for it. later that year we went to sussex to the bluebell railway and others nearby, this is where i found the tender for 7820 which was with a complete hinton manor. the chassis from that went under another manor. so the tender had GWR on and the loco had a BR smokebox number, i thought this would be different. after purchasing transfers earlier this year i decided to change dinmore to BR unlined green, which i would not do for a little while till we had got sorted with the house. but the urge got the better of me and i decided to have a go on a 08 shunter body first as i had never done something like this before. that went well so the next day i brought 7820 out of storage and changed it from GWR to BR late crest. im quite happy with the outcome and will look forward to doing it again one day. what do you think of it?

Sorry Kenny I don't have a spare chassis for the manors, but i think bachmann might be able to help as they did it seperate from the body. Also what happened to the GWR gala? :?
Cheers Seb

slight update
i have some new track that i can use on bodmin now which came from the hornby royal train set. it may not be the peco stuff already on the layout but there is no need to waste it.
