Love the way the updates are coming detailing the build. You learn such a lot from it.

Two questions: The close coupling, how did you do that?

And, the point motors are side mounted. What make are they.

Thanks and keep the up-date coming.

Cheers, Jerry

Hi Jerry, glad you are enjoying the build.

The close coupling on the coaches is supplied in the box with the coaches

The point motors are the peco ones PL-1

The legs are from my N Guage layout so are just temp at the mommen, but propr legs will be built soon.

And the boards themselves are a mix, one is a screw build while the other three are nails

just a bit of news on the engine front. i am putting a deposit on both the limited edition bachmann halls from buffers model shop. 4953 pitchford hall and 4920 dumbleton hall. both will be dcc fitted by the shop and i will be hopefully be in my hands in april. also i am thinking of (as a long term project) once bodmin and boscarne are done maybe going bodmin parkway to complete the railway. but as i said it would be long term and only a pipe dream for now.

we now have more boards for the next section of the layout. ollie has now decided that he will be not making Boscarne Jnc as planned, but the shed and yard on the Bodmin Parkway section of the railway. Plans will appear at a later date.

good work so far the B&W is certainly a favourite railway of mine. I suggest you look at the videos about the O gauge model of Bodmin General http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArSvKl6wdsk . If you like i am happy to give you all my photos of the railway now. Im geussing you are not putting in the inclines accuratly if so the inclines are. The inclines are currently (miles from london) 277 1/2 level, 278 1 in 42 and 1 in 40, 279 1 in 49 and 1 in 45, 280m Boscarne Junction 1 in 300. good stuff, i am sure you would be welcome at my model clubs exibition in a few years time when its more complete.
