Andrew's garage layout - Hookstoke Junction

I've only come back to the hobby a few weeks ago. my layout is on a board that is 8x6. So far i have laid all the track, added trains, 1 point motor and thats it. The Gauge of the track is 00 and pictures will be posted soon

Click "Upload Attachment" at th bottom of the reply box,and upload the image, then wen you done that you click place incline

I finally got pictures on, apparantly i have to make it smaller so enjoy the pictures of my layout

Hi Andrew. Is that a 61xx 'Big Prairie' lurking with a couple of coaches on your layout I see there?

Yes it is. I've had it for 5 years and my dad let me borrow some coaches.

I believe Gavin is talking about the tank engine behind the pullman coaches, the large prairie 2-6-2 tank engine.

ok i've now got the layout plan to make life easier. Here it is:

i have done the first oval done with underlay now. I mean the inner oval. Now i nead to get some more. Pictures Coming soon!

Hi
Looks like you have a really nice layout coming along there. Based on the original Hornby track pack plan? Maybe you could try and join the siding on the left hand side up with the outside loop. I based my layout on the hornby track plan and decided to join it up to make 3 loops. Really pleased that I did and it allows you to run 3 trains at once. Just a thought, see what you think. Like I say though you have made a great start so far.

i did think about that but i can still do it now. all i need is another curved point, some more 3rd radius double curves and another controller.
