Yes great name. And sure... go ahead, post as many pictures as you like. After all it is your own thread. If you want to post a list of your rolling stock then go go ahead why not :)

EDIT: Just for reference... Stoke is a real place not far from where I live, not sure if this is where you got that part of the name form maybe?

Looking at your profile "Basingstoke,Hampshire" ....how about "Stokinhamps" [Stoke-in-Hamps ... :roll: ]

My layout is "Loftbrough" ....it a play on Loughbrough [of GCR fame ....and the fact that its in the loft]

I know it's the fastest .....but why did they have to name it after a duck?

So you've settled on a name then. Hookstoke Junction sounds great to me. I'm guessing the 'hook' reference is derived form your name?

actually i live in the village hook near basingstoke
I have this engine like the picture :) GWR 0-6-0 Pannier tank
Check out Andrew's layout Hookstoke Junction UPDATED! Should do more work as it's now the Easter Holidays :) After the holdiays are over, my layout won't get updated much Age = 15

Today i had to fix my surface mounted point motor (Hornby) as the common wire (black) broke 2 weeks ago. :(
well it was hard work but it now works. Here are the pictures!

i got my tool kit from Robert Dyas a few years ago too. This was even the first time i've fixed a point motor. Has anyone else opened up a hornby surface mounted point motor?

I am sure I remember a layout of that name being featured in Model Rail!

was it your one?

When I name a layout I just pick a name from a map!
Above all its a Rover.

nope, it wasn't my layout. I don't read model rail magasine but now you mentioned it i may start doing so. I do read railway modeller though.

i've now reinstalled a motor but haven't wired it up yet. Still go another 2 to reinstall but have got another 2 to install.

i've now decided that i'll do a hill on my layout as it would make it more exciting and make the layout better. I'll start the hill in a few weeks.

Nahh ...it's not my Loftbrough ....which was originally gonna be Loftborough ...but I forgot about the "O" when I made the sign :oops: ....prob'ly due to name of the village I live in ending in/with "brough"
