Hi bizzy

Welcome to the forum! We're all at differing stages of newness to the whole thing, so relax, enjoy the community (we don't bite!) and keep us all informed of how things are going! Can you tell me what type of railway it is you'll be modelling? 00, N... Steam, Diesel...?

Looking forward to the updates!
Gavin

Hi Bizzy.

Welcome to the forum. I've been on here for just about 1month now and have had an amazing amount of help from some of the guys on here. :D

I'm building a 6x4 too along with a few others it seems, i'm probably at the same stage as you are but there ar some guys who are just a bit further on and some with, what could be considered, completed layouts.
keep the pics and updates coming, i'm sure a few other guys will introduce themselves very soon??(Bomb...  )

cheers

Graeme

works progresing well, i've final finished the station, and started running trains to test the track, also made a small change to the track layout.
i was wanting to put a turntable on the layout and was wonder which ones where any good?, i've seen the hornby one which is rather large and would take up most of the layout so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

cheers

Allow myself to introduce.....myself! I'm BomBaDillic (strange name but hey-ho) and I've just started a 6x4ft layout too. Graymee and I were competing on an incline but both layouts are flat all the way now. I'm looking forward to watching your progress and seeing where this goes :D You've made a good start so I'll be back for ideas :D

Happy Modelling

the skaledale east engine shed and water tower go together well.
the last shot of the station shows a good comparison of old hornby plastic buildings and the skaledale range.
i will be interested to see the layout develop to the scenic stage, good track plan. :D

Bizzy the peco one is only about £10-£20. The heljen one not sure of price but aparntly is a lot. By the way your station looks like goathland a tad :D . Even on a curve!
