Hi BnP :)
I was thinking of getting 2 kits, halfing the second so i can store say, a shunter in there.
I was also thinking of adding a bit more details like more doors, walkways on the roof's stuff like that
Cheers,

If you like, I could take a couple of pics inside of mine so you can see how easy it would be to customise.
Certainly, none of that sounds completely un-doable for someone with the necessary skills!
cheers, Mark.

i would have put the station at the top of that last trackplan you posted
so you can have the two lines coming off of the two mainlines for the platforms and keep the twom mainlines for "fast track/ freight"

just a thought

Hi Kye,
Thats a good idea, why didnt you think of that before   Only problem is that the highest rail is on the edge of the board ( ) and the other doesnt have much of a gap between the depot line.

Are xbox s more fun then a model railway? I don't think so, railways are much cooler. (or lets combine the too and have a dcc xbox controled model railway)
Can't wait to see the new buildings

Ah-ha, just persuaded my mam to let me get the layout back out once she is finished un-packing :D :D
So by the time i get it all set up i will take some piccies for you lot.
Bit of a theoretical update now..:
Ive also got a curved point to lay on the fiddleyard to extend the outer tracks :)
And last but not least with the spare money i have left over from my holidays (not much to buy in france  ) i will probably get a handheld controller for the depot :)

Nice to see some new trackwork, but do you REALLY want your locos that close to the edge of the board???

A derailment and resulting nosedive won't do it any good even from that little height

Thanks Paul,
Funny my Dad said the same thing as soon as he saw it. i have actually adjusted it so that only a very slight bit of sleeper is over the board edge
