No, not after waiting for it for so long!, it arrived this morning at last!. i might even go for a Arriva Cross Country one to, hattons have them in stock now :wink: .

The station is no more

Never had and never planned to have a station on my layout!
Take up to much space if you want to run 9 plus coach trains!
2 trains, 2 railroad tracks, one going the other one coming back. Click Clack, Click Clack.

I know that I'm starting to wish that I'd avoided the whole station thing as well :/

Ho-hum, as they say: live, learn and then completely make the same balls-ups all over again :lol:

Seriously though mate, i wonder if the small halt station might be a good idea. A workers' halt or something. There used to be plenty of them all over the network so I'd imagine there must be a few that still exist to give you prototypical inspiration!

CURZON STREET MODEL RAILWAY NEWS UPDATE THURSDAY 04th JUNE 2009:

Traction and Rolling Stock News:
Ive got some very positive news to report this evening, My long awaited Class 170 arrived Tuesday morning, and Wednesday brought the arrival of another Class 60 in the form of 60026 in EW&S colours to partner 60007 in Loadhaul, Ive also got 60081 'Isambad Kingdom Brunel' and 08799 Andy Bower coming sometime next week, and maybe something else :wink: .

170504 London Midland Turbostar, sits on Curzon Street SD, during a pause in its delivery run from Wolverton Works to Tyseley:

08683 tends to some abandoned OCA's in the South end sidings at Curzon Street SD:

There is a hourly (local) service from Shrewsbury to New Street. (so i will be getting one in N)

and DRS loving the layout, one of the ones i look most forward to updates in. keep up the good modelling

LM service from New St to Shrewsbury, New St - Walsal, New St - Worcester and New St - Rugley and before the 350's were introduced New - Lime St.

Contruction News:
I finally got round to fitting the road/town scene decking behind the North end retaining walls this evening, once they've dried I will crack on with the East side of the road bridge that crosses Bourne End Junc and round towards Curzon Street Junction.

Snap Happy:
60007 takes power after a signal check over Ledburn Junction 6T34 Bescort - Washwood Heath enterprise working:
