my layout

Here are a few pics of a layout i,m in the process of building,it comprises of 8 complete circuits 10 sidings and eventually a shunting yard,I have live steam Mallard on 1 and 2 passengers tracks,5 goods tracks,3 of which are bachman ez dcc ,its going to be a real pain ballasting ..haha

Hehe imagine a scale lenth pendilo or hst (somit fast) whizzing round that layout :D. how long is the running length?

its about 95 feet,the layout has about 1100 feet of track so far...there are 2 hst 91,s that are pretty fast and they dont derail lol

Amazing! So much rolling stock there too... I think divorce would be on the cards if I turned up with all that :lol:

Lucky from me my wife doesn't go in the loft, or I would be moving back in with my mum. :shock: The amount of Point work is outstanding too

So when are you going to start painting the rails rusty ?? ....... Ouch ........ Will you ballast it all ????
Oh ..... to have a space like that, a portable 12 foot out and back is all I can accommodate. Looks like you could keep us entertained for years , well that's how long most of us would take on something at this scale !

Due to a house move i had to tear it apart(sigh)...but was awarded a much larger loft......work has now progressed..and pics will follow shorly.
