Is that a caravan aerial sticking out the top of the church?

On a serious note, nice to see some photos from different places.

Idle question: do the cars down the back street live there all the time, or just there for that photo?

They usually live all over the layout, but the small hands of a 3yr old getting hold of them and causing damage to the layout, so they were moved well out of the way.

hiya Martin

Do you have any clear close ups of the station lights, they are great and i'd like to make some like that for my layout.

it would be good if you made a few tutorials on your station, road and other lighting

thanks
Graham

Some inspirational idea's & great modelling work throughout this thread Martin, It all looks so well modelled & I like the way each area / photo has its own story, the lady of the night , scrap yard scene etc.

The scene you have (around page 80 i think) with the stack of old hornby steel rail rusted track is an idea I also use as to replicate a disused line, I re-thread rails into peco concrete sleepers & they look great, one problem is that even when left in back garden they can take months for the rust to take a proper hold.

The landcaping & application of trees & foliage really sets a standard of realism i'll aim for on my own project when i get to the more scenic stage of it.

Dave.
