Re: Levington DCC Layout
Those TTAs look great. Quick q: did you add any weight to them? I find that they are fairly light and when you have a long rake 1 or 2 can often derail.... ...or else my tracklaying is rather poor!
Re: Levington DCC Layout
I haven't added weight as yet, not having problems but Know I will, due to weight. I plan to add 10g of weight to start with to each and equally add weight to each until I am happy. I do have long curves which lets me run a rake of 9 with no derailments.

Just a little Picture Update.
The station is starting to take shape.

Its some plastic brick sheet, that I got from Ebay. Not sure on the make but know it isn't Slaters, as that is what I have used for all the other buildings.

Love the layout
What were the transfers attached to to get them to stick to the tanker

Nipped in and got it printed off. I then gave a coat of varnish as instructed, think this is to protect it when you place in the water. a few hours later I decided I couldn't wait nomore and made a start, on adding some to a wagon.
These wagons are just the basic Railroad wagons bought at about £8 for 3 wagons, Over all I think it has cost £3-£4 each wagon. Yer I could go out and pay £8 each and get a good detailed Bachmann wagon, but I am proud of these and that is priceless.
Here is the wagaon set before I got my hands on them.
Then after the transfers have been added.
Hopefully in the morning they will still be attached and not a mess on the track at the side of the wagon

I am but I thought transfers were filmsy bits of special paper and they are stuck to a board which my tankers don't have

Hi Martin
Been a while since I looked in but the standard just gets better and better (apart from the odd drunken photo!
). Those tankers look fantastic and the scenery so realistic. The curves of the track look fantastic too. Can't add anything technical but nice one.
Brilliant is all that is left to say.

I think this scene is perfect for your old 'mirror on the wall' trick behind the buildings across from the station. It'll give the whole view a whole new dimension. I remember the first time I saw it - most impressed I was

There's a lot of it about "en ce moment"

Martin , I like the look of this station , what's under the bridge ? does it go off onto a circuit or is it a dead end ?
Cheers
