This is one I uploaded,

this is as I was leaving the site, not actually off the site at that point. For those how know the NYMR as you go in to NYMR Pickering car park, over the bridge, over the crossing to the right is a scouts hut the site was to the right of that.

I was asked a few times, many many months ago, about my station and where and what station it is based on. Last night and this morning I looked though hundreds of pictures from the Dissused Station web site. I got as far as the end of R and hit the jack pot.
My station is based on a station in Rushden Northamptonshire. Here are some pictures of the station.
My station came to a halt when I lost the images and site of the real station, I managed to get most of it complete but it still needs the finishing touches.

A little update.
I have fitted more lamps to the front of my locos. My King Edward I has had a lamp fitted to the cab as well, for cab lighting, to show the driver and fireman at work. I need to paint them before fitting and when I do I will add a picture. I have been playing with the Decoder programming and found one of my decoders to have an output, for a light, that I can simulate a fire with, so I am debating if it is worth trying to fit an LED within the cab? I have also connected the smoke back to the decoder function wires, on my battle of brit "fighter Pilot". I have programmed this so I can turn the smoke on and off also by press a button I can reduce the amount of smoke that is given off. Trying to be more Green and help the environment.

Sounds splendid Martin. I am sure you will entertain us with a video of said splendid locos in action in due course ;)

By the way, thanks for the pix of the original station. Always good to see the real thing: gives the model that much more credance :)

Cheers
