Cheers all,

Dave it was more a special varnish donated to me :wink: but i failed to get the right mix so have had a few areas of crystalisation, i will be buying some Polyurethane over the next few days that should be fine :oops:

long time since i ahev seen your layout and well what can i say but wow what a difference time makes when you dont keep an eye on things
so how are things going on the layout and what have you got left to do or is it you are having problems finding things to do on your layout now??

Hi Thanks Peter,

Ive definatly have got plenty of things to do :lol: tomorrow i will be buying some varnish and will be relaying the varnish and adding the boats etc i am just waiting for all the crazy xmas shoppers to clear before i start my venture. :wink:

My list goes on to be honest the fine detail is endless heres a few of the list.

Track rusting weathering to finish of
Animals and people need to be added
More buildings need finishing and fixing down
Lights
Signals

i know what you mean by the shoppers i was watching them on the news and what a stamped they were there worse than a pack of voltures lol
so wha signaling are you going in for multi aspect or semaphore???

Added some more varnish to the lake, some boats and had to get the camera out there seemed to be some activity on the lines :wink:

Sorry for the camera quality think its down to user error just could not get it clear as normal :?

Nice to see another update! The lake looks great, and the little boats help to sort of break up the whole water scene, if you get my drift (no pun intended!)

Wow. That water is just amazing. The texture and reflectivity is just spot on, and the illusion of movement is captured well too.

Well for one thing you want to get yourself a flat-screen monitor then... Those particle accelerator types take up a lot of space. :P

Great to se things are still progressing by the waterside. Hard to beleive that it's the same layout as the bare wood and track thing I first saw a few years ago. It really has been a treat seeing it develop into the masterpiece we see today.
