Wenchford Railway- layout to go, open to offers on items

i have just found the wenchford railway, old and new. how many are on the team to build and operate this layout? i enjoyed the sound effects on the first set of photo,s and the breeze block and pint glass scenery in the second set...i have just completed laying the track for my 8ftx6ft oo layout in the shed,now comes the tricky bit,filling in all of the gaps.at least all the trains run even if it is still over naked tracks.with inspiration from the likes of the wenchford railway things can only improve..

thanks pete, it's my layout but i have had help in certain aspects from other forum members and the layout can be operated by one or by 2 as it is now and it's always good to have company to make it more fun to operate/ I hope your layout is going well, got a thread up yet?

Recently my father found his father after over 40 years of no contact, and now I have started to get to know my grandfather for the first time, an odd experience. Turns out he is also into model railways and has passed on a few items to me, these are 3 of them, both Battle of Britain's have names associated with his past, Tangmere as he was based there during his time in the RAF and Winston Churchill as he work as a policeman at No10 for a short time and met the then Prime Minister several times.





Also on a lighter note, I have bought 3 Hornby Teak coaches to go with my N2, I was in a model shop in Wales and spotted them for £15 each second hand boxed as new, and just couldn't resist.

Also an utter utter bargain on those LNER teaks! They are so expensive brand new.

Wenchford Update, all point motors are now installed and working, both panels are complete and so derailments aside the layout can be operated sitting down at all times

Good to see you finally got the motors in, been a while since you said you were going to do that, at least won't have to have some one standing there operating all the points now! Good stuff, will have to come and try it out.
