new layout
new layout
well ive been tossing the idea of a new layout back and forth (even put together a baseboard)
not sure what to go for,
layout will probabaly go under the bed when not in use
a shelf layout would be handy but i feel i need a continuous run aswell as sidings
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=12436&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15
that inspired me quite a bit,
going with my old track plan on the layout i was forced to abandon was another plan,
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=9326 (theres an extra siding though)
i plan to reuse all my old stuff anyway
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10938 is the latest inspiration, and having the shunting yard come out underneath only to be a lot more basic, my railway "career" started off with some us based HO sets my dad got and then we moved onto hornby and my first set was the duchess,
in terms of loco i have a BR class 06
the duchess

i also purchased a local freight set last year but i cannot remember for the life f me having the loco from it, this has me very confused greatly as i type
i have a lot of other various freight and some coaches
anyone care to inspire me?
EDIT: after 5 or so minutes of frantic searching i found what i was after along with my hornby club loco from a few years gone, chassis didnt survive quite like the body
the aim of this layout isnt any particular era, just me running what i like to see on my tracks

Re: new layout
Thanks mate
. No-one commented on Glen Cary so it's nice to hear kind words about it. I'm sure your layout will be above and beyond any of mine.
